Ted’s public service career spans decades and multiple branches of Michigan government:

• U.S. Air Force veteran (1986–1990)
• Criminal Justice Information Center (CJIC) legislative analyst
• Award-winning project manager for the Internet Criminal History Access Tool (ICHAT) and CJIC Reporter
• Founding member of the Juvenile Justice Vision 2020 action team
• Leader in criminal history record quality improvements across all 83 Michigan counties
• Contributor to MiFILE and technology modernization efforts at the Michigan Supreme Court
• Innovator in testing 2‑D barcoding technology for Treasury

Beyond government service, Ted is active in the faith community and currently worships at Williamston UMC. He also operates Dragon Unity Martial Arts in Mason.

Ted is a widower since 2023, a father of six, and grandfather of four — grounding his campaign in compassion, resilience, and responsibility.
